    Ben Tillisch, RD, CNSC

    President

    Ben is a Dietitian Territory Manager for Kate Farms, covering the whole state of Colorado. His career in clinical nutrition started as a Dietitian Assistant at Children's Hospital Colorado and has since led him to work in homecare, adult critical care, andin enteral formula sales. In the Spring of 2022, after spending two years working in the ICU, he passed his board exam and get certified as a CNSC. Although he has been an active CSPEN member for several years, he is excited to officially be on the Board, helping to connect the local nutrition support community. In his free time, Ben loves watching pop-culture Jeopardy, learning how to crochet, and spending time with his elderly dog, Dustin.

    Allie Hoepker, RDN, CNSC

    Past President and Secretary

    Allie is a Clinical Liaison Dietitian at Amerita Specialty Infusion Services. She began her career as a Clinical Dietitian with Veterans Health Administration working in a variety of patient care settings ranging from home-based primary care to the ICU. Allie is passionate about helping transition patients from hospital to home and making a positive impact in the lives of people that require nutrition support. In the Summer of 2022, she earned board certification as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside running, camping, and exploring Colorado.

    Corrin Coons, MS, RDN

    President-Elect

    Corrin is an inpatient clinical dietitian currently working at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St Luke's Medical Center covering a variety of patient populations including ICU, liver transplant, gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors, head and neck cancer, and rehab. She enjoys working with higher acuity patients including those on enteral and parenteral nutrition regimens and is currently studying to take the spring 2026 CNSC exam to further her expertise in this area. Corrin loves collaborating with other nutrition support clinicians and is excited for the opportunity to increase her involvement within the CSPEN community over the next few years!

    Victoria Hasenyager, RDN

    Communications Co-Chair

    Victoria has been a Registered Dietitian since 2018 and started her career at Everyday Nutrition, LLC, a private practice where she provided MNT for a variety of conditions, but focussed heavily on GI disorders. After a few years, she transitioned into the DME/Home Infusion space, working at companies like Preferred Homecare and Paragon Healthcare as Clinical Account Executive, expanding access to care across Colorado for enteral and parenteral nutrition patients. Victoria is also a past board member for the Colorado Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and has previosuly served CSPEN as the Treasurer and Secretary. In her spare time, you can find her outdoors playing tennis, hiking, or traveling.

    Jenni Ware, MS, RD, CNSC

    Communications Co-Chair

     

    Jenni is a Florida native, a foodie, an adventurer, and an animal lover! She graduated from the University of Central Florida and received her Master’s from Florida State University. She has also been a certified Clinical Nutrition Support Clinician since 2014. Her experience as a practicing RD for the past 12+ years has been primarily in the inpatient acute care setting with a passion for critical care medicine (and also chocolate + coffee). She made the move out to Colorado late 2021 and has been working for the University of Colorado Hospital specializing in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and Nutrition Support.
    When she is not at work, she enjoys most outdoor activities, particularly hiking and rock climbing, exploring new places with her wife, and spending time with her 3 rescue fur-babies (Flash, Oliver, and Harley).

    Julie Geyer, MSA, RD-AP, CNSC

    Membership Chair

    Julie graduated from Kansas State University’s coordinated program and earned her master’s degree from Central Michigan University. She holds the RD-AP advanced practitioner certification in clinical nutrition as well as the CNSC credential. With more
    than 30 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian in diverse clinical and home-care settings, Julie currently works for Premier Infusion & Healthcare Services, specializing
    in nutrition support.
    Throughout her career, Julie has been committed to advancing the field through scholarship. She has authored and co-authored papers, developed practice resources, and contributed research to strengthen evidence-based nutrition support. She also frequently serves as a peer reviewer for JPEN, Nutrition in Clinical Practice, and
    Support Line, giving back to the professional community.
    Julie is a past President of CSPEN and currently serves as Membership Chair. She also volunteers with ASPEN on the Self-Assessment and Enteral Nutrition Practice Committees and with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics on the RD-AP Advisory Panel and Exam Writing Committee.

    Sydney Coons, MS, RDN

    Treasurer

    Sydney is a results-driven and dedicated Registered Dietitian passionate about providing evidence-based and empathetic nutrition care to support patients' nutritional status. She currently works at HCA HealthONE Rose Medical Center as a full-time inpatient clinical dietitian. She works with a variety of patients including ICU, medical/surgical, orthopedic, gastrointestinal, and bariatric surgery.
    Sydney has worked in this role for over one year and has gained experience developing and monitoring both enteral and parenteral nutrition support regimens and is now studying to take the Certified Nutrition Support Clinician exam in the spring of 2026!

    Katie Geiger, MS, RD

    Program Planning Co-Chair

    Katie Geiger has been a Registered Dietitian for over 10 years. Throughout her career she has worked with a variety of patients, from ICU to neuromuscular disease and oncology populations. She spent the last 8 years working as a home infusion RD, helping patients safely transition home on enteral nutrition. She provided bedside or in-home training to patients and families on their respective tube feeding regimens, and continued to provide support and follow up at home. Most recently, she started working with brain injury rehab patients. Katie really enjoys working with clinical teams to help coordinate a safe discharge plan for patients and providing support for their families throughout the process.

    Jackie Hook, MS, RD, CNSC

    Program Planning Co-Chair

    Jackie graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology and received her Masters of Science in Dietetics from Loyola University of Chicago. She has been a dietitian for over 7 years now and has been a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician since 2020. She is currently working as a Registered Dietitian at Shield Healthcare. She helps transition patients from the hospital to the home setting and provides ongoing clinical support. Prior to this, she worked at Children's Hospital Colorado in their Digestive Health Institute. Before moving to Colorado to be closer to her two sisters, she worked in the inpatient setting with both pediatrics and adults, where she found a love for parenteral nutrition. In her free time, she enjoys baking, spending time with her nieces and nephew, and enjoying the Colorado weather!

    Jennifer Gordon, MS, RD, CNSC

    CNSC Study Group Leader

    Jennifer currently works at the University of Utah Hospital covering the surgical ICU while rotating throughout all areas of the hospital. She particularly enjoys improving the care of nutrition support patients transitioning from hospital to home.

    Reem Farra, MDS, RD, CNSC, CCTD

    Board Member

    Reem Farra graduated with her Masters and Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2017. She has practiced in the clinical adult setting for all of her career covering patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. At University Hospital in San Antonio she covered trauma, transplant, cardiothoracic surgery and their critical care units. In mid 2020, she joined the transplant team outpatient acting as primary on the lung transplant team. She completed her CNSC in 2020 then received her CCTD in 2021. Reem moved to Colorado earlier this year and is now part of the outpatient RD team at Kaiser Permanente. In San Antonio, Reem was active with her local ASPEN chapter (TASPEN) serving as treasurer for 3 years then president elect for 1 year. She’s excited to join CSPEN and continue networking and learning with CO clinicians.

    Rachel Gilson, MHA, RD

    Board Member

    Rachel has been a Registered Dietitian for 10 years, working with a variety of patients from the ICU to home care. Her strength resides in building relationships both with her patients and colleagues. She enjoys mentoring students, interns and new RDs and is most passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and healthcare leadership. Rachel is excited to sit on the board of CSPEN, offering ideas on how to continue to connect nutrition professionals and elevate scope of practice. In her free time, Rachel enjoys Orangetheory, hot yoga, spending time with her Goldendoodle, "Denver," and snuggling up with a good book and cup of coffee.
